Let's Get to Know Each Other!

Computer science is often a collaborative field, and our class is a community. This is a space for you to introduce yourself and see who else is learning alongside you this semester.

After you have completed "Activity 0.1: An Introduction," you've already done most of the work for this!

Your Task (A Two-Step Process)

  1. Step 1: Share Your Introduction Run your introduction.py program one more time. Take a screenshot of the output in the shell (the part that shows your name, hobby, and goal). Create a new thread in the "Course Icebreaker" discussion forum and attach your screenshot. Use your name as the subject line (e.g., "Ada Lovelace's Introduction").
  2. Step 2: Greet Your Classmates Read through the introductions from at least two of your classmates. Reply to their threads to say hello, comment on a shared hobby, or welcome them to the course.

Example Post:

Subject: Alan Turing's Introduction

Hey everyone, looking forward to the course!

Important Note

This activity is ungraded and purely for participation. The formal, graded submission of your .py file or URL still goes to the "Activity 0.1" Assignment Folder. This discussion is just for us to get to know each other.
